During recent classes, we've noticed how participants' worries, anxieties, feelings of discomfort are more present than ever. This is not at all surprising given everything that has been happening. Please note that if during class you start to feel lots of feelings or your mind is super active, know that this is normal. You're not doing anything wrong and this is okay.
Although oasis online ℠ is a relaxing, restorative experience, sometimes what makes us feel uneasy needs to disperse or release before we feel better. These classes are designed to feel like a big hug. If anything, lean into this.
You are responsible for your own wellbeing. Be sure to take care of yourself in the ways you already do and utilize your personal resources during class and beyond. If desired, modulate the immersion to your immediate needs. We always encourage you to choose your activity during these classes. It is meant to flex to you. So, breathe, journal, move your body, stretch, draw, read a book, even turn down the sounds if you prefer. Here are some other tips worth exploring.
